COURSE DETAILS

Bachelor in Science (Dialysis Technology) is a three year degree course which prepares students to become trained dialysis technicians for providing specialized care to renal failure patients. They work closely with Nephrologist and carry out regular dialysis and various preparatory procedures including the sterilization and maintenance of machines for patients of Chronic Renal Failure awaiting renal transplant.

OBJECTIVE

• Dialysis technicians are medical specialists trained in the operation of a dialysis machine. Their primary duties include monitoring patients undergoing adjusting patient fluid removal rates as required.
• The vision for the Center for Dialysis Innovation is that future dialysis therapy will be complication free, and restorative of kidney health.
